A hazy, violent night out with Homme and pals

More Queens Of The Stone Age More Queens Of The Stone Age

Rock stalwarts Queens Of The Stone Age have gone all out for their latest video for new single Smooth Sailing, dropping a five and half minute epic mini-movie that's a bit on the NSFW side of things.

While there's no nudity, there's plenty of drunken and drug-fueled behaviour that sees a night out on the town with Josh Homme and a few friends really just turn into one hazy, violent mess. This is not what a golf club should be used for btw...

The video was directed by Hiro Murai, who was behind Earl Sweatshirt's Chum and Childish Gambino's 3005 clips. He's also directed videos for St Vincent, Cults and David Guetta.

Smooth Sailing is of course off QOTSA's acclaimed 2013 LP ...Like Clockwork, the album which the band toured recently in Aus with fellow rock mainstays Nine Inch Nails.
