The line-up for the brand new HOLEANDCORNER event has been announced this afternoon with six pretty fine international acts locked in to perform at the Sydney and Melbourne events this June.

The new event was revealed yesterday by theMusic.com.au and is the culmination of six months planning between dance music agents Fünf Touring and the Mushroom Group's Illusive. The pair previously paired on an afterparty for the Future Music Festival, which Mushroom promotes.

Fünf boss Alex Haeusler told theMusic that if the initial dates go well, they'll look at running HOLEANDCORNER two or three times a year.

Heading up the line-up is Hot Chip, who will be playing a DJ set at both of the events, proving their abilities to get the dancefloor pumping no matter what arrangement they perform in.

Avant pop master Matthew Dear makes his return to Australia to play the event; he's been pretty quiet on the recorded front of late, but his back catalogue features some of the most influential modern underground EDM around.

Spanish techno master Henry Saiz will be bringing his full live show to Australia to play HOLEANDCORNER this year, bringing his incredibly popular brand of indie-leaning electronic music to the big rooms on this tour. His mate, Israeli producer Guy J, will also be there pumping out hypnotic house music, while Berlin's Cosmin TRG and the San Fran-bred electro-loving lady XOSAR round out the bill.

The show takes place at Shed 14 in Melbourne's Docklands on Saturday 7 June and Home Nightclub in Sydney on Sunday 8 June. Tickets are available now.
