Lorde Names Canberra's Safia As Main Tour Support

Chilled out electro outfit Safia have scored a major coup of a support slot, with the Canberra-originated trio named as Lorde's special guests for her upcoming headline tour of Australia.

The three-piece definitely have a wave of their own buzz surrounding them, with a big 2013 under their belt. Their debut single Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues garnered plenty of love online and on triple j, plus on a few overseas radio stations. The guys also had a mint year on the touring circuit, playing alongside the likes of Disclosure and Rudimental.

TheMusic.com.au also named Safia as one of the five Aussie acts in the most recent Hottest 100 that you should know.

Lorde's tour takes place later this month and next, with tickets to the first Sydney show officially sold-out. The tour will see the Kiwi sensation, arguably the biggest musical discovery of 2013, play her biggest venues in Aus yet.
