Dan Sultan Announces 'Blackbird' Album Tour

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Dan Sultan is celebrating the release of his third album Blackbird - out today - by announcing a huge run of shows for winter.

Sultan will play shows all around the country for an almost two month run, starting off in Townsville on Thursday 26 June and finishing up in Broome on Saturday 16 August.

Joining the muso on the tour will be all-sister rock band Stonefield and Jan Skubiszewski's Way Of The Eagle. Tickets are available from next Thursday 10 April. Check out theGuide for details.

Blackbird - out via Liberation - is already garnering Sultan plenty of acclaim, with The Music's Danielle O'Donohue giving the record a four-star review and calling it a "big step forward" for the artist.
