Ball Park Music, Dan Sultan, Todd Terje and more

Todd Terje - It's Album Time (Olsen/Kobalt)

There has been a 10 year wait for Todd Terje's debut album and according to The Music's Christopher H James, "there's an element of cheese, but not the unpleasant, heavily processed kind – we're talking about a cultured, deliriously tasty piece of Jarlsberg here". Definitely an album worth waiting for.

Ball Park Music - Puddinghead (Stop Start/Inertia)

You could say the Aussie five-piece have smashed their new album out of the Ball Park - sorry - with 11 killer new tracks. Containing songs that are "all unique in form but linked through a mature sense of clarity", says The Music's Mat Lee, this album needs to be heard.

Dan Sultan - Blackbird (Liberation)

Melbourne musician Dan Sultan will be releasing his new album Blackbird tomorrow, one that showcases his classic Aus rock'n'roll stylings. Reviewer Danielle O'Donohue has given this piece a thumbs up, stating that "this is a big step forward for Dan Sultan".

Liam Finn - The Nihilist (Create Control)

With years of music experience under his belt, Liam Finn will be releasing his fourth solo album The Nihilist this Friday. He's tried some new things on this album, yet "the odd choices and experimentation pay off a lot more often than they fail" according to The Music's Pete Laurie.
