Something For Kate Confirm Vinyl, Book, Tour & More For 20 Year Anniversary

One of the country's most artistically revered rock bands is turning 20.

In news that might make you feel very old, Something For Kate will this year celebrate 20 years of making music together. It's a huge milestone for any band that manages to last that long – goodness know there aren't many of them – and the band are celebrating in fine style with a number of things planned to ensure people know all about it.

Firstly, each of the band's six records will be reissued on vinyl in a limited edition run, as well as re-released through iTunes and as deluxe double-CD sets crammed full of exciting new bonus material. There will be a book released in conjunction with the anniversary, Paper Trail promising to be a captivating look at the band's 20 years together and an accompaniment to a new short film made by Callum Preston.

This film will be shown at each night of a massive, career-spanning tour that the band are undertaking mid-year, presented by theMusic, that will see them perform two sets per show with all the hits and a bunch of obscure material all promising to be covered. On top of that, there will be meet and greets at each show, allowing fans to get up close with the band that has meant so much to so many.

The new records will be out on Friday 4 July, and the tour dates are all in theGuide below with tickets available from 9am Friday 11 April.
