Four additions to May showcase

UK festival and showcase extravaganza The Great Escape have added four more Australian acts to the bill in the final announcement.

Brisbane pop group Sheppard, rock bands Sticky Fingers and Calling All Cars and singer songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke have all been added to the Australian contingent, which also includes Courtney Barnett, Hermitude, Tigertown and Stonefield.

In total over 100 bands were added from around the world.

Considered to be the UK's equivalent of SXSW, there will be a solid contingent of Australian industry representatives making the trek as well.
