Fast-tracked to Australian television through Foxtel's Fox 8 channel, the 16th episode of season five, While You Were Sleeping, saw Barnett's Avant Gardener and Empire Of The Sun's Alive feature as two of the three songs in the episode.

Previously in season five The Delta Riggs' Stars has appeared in two episodes while Jagwar Ma's Come Save Me, Sarah Blasko's Illusory Light and Tame Impala's Elephant have also gained airtime. There have also been numerous songs from Lorde and The Naked & Famous' Hearts Like Ours.
