Chandelier is out, Sia stays hidden

One of Australia's greatest songwriting exports of recent years, Sia Furler has released her new single Chandelier.

Having stepped away from her own career to move to the US and focus on writing songs for the likes of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue, she revealed earlier this month that she will be releasing a new album in May, without any promo.

Her local record label Inertia have now alerted theMusic to glitzy-pop cut Chandelier, which was co-written by Jesse Shatkn (Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson) and produced by regular collaborator Greg Kurstin (Pink, Lilly Allen).

Furler's latest promo picture continues her theme of putting a paper bag over her head - an act of not wanting any sort of public fame.

She was named the 28th most powerful person in the Australian music industry in last year's AMID Power 50.
