Original Things Of Stone & Wood Lineup Touring For First Time Since '97

We are aware that there may be a few readers who aren't entirely familiar with Things Of Stone & Wood and their smash hit single Happy Birthday Helen, which for a while there was about as iconic an Aussie song as any other.

So if you don't know it, or you need to refamilarise yourself with it, have a listen before you read on.

The band split back in 1998 and reformed with a slightly different line up for five years from 2001 through to 2006, but this year, on the 25th anniversary of their initial inception, they will come back together in their original form and play shows around the country to bring back plenty of memories for their many fans.

Joining them on all shows will be internationally renowned and road hardened troubadour Carus Thompson, making this a pretty damn cool double-bill of folk action.
