The annual regional concert held by public broadcaster triple j will take place in the Victorian town of Mildura, the station announced today.

Earlier this week they announced the line-up, Illy, RÜFÜS, Dan Sultan, Violent Soho and The Jungle Giants and that they would be playing the mini-festival Saturday 17 May.

The free drug and alcohol-free all ages event will take place at The Nowingi Place, Hugh King Drive, Mildura and will be broadcast live by triple j.

Drive presented Lindsay McDougall said of the riverside town today, Water skis! Of course that's not the only thing about Mildura that won me over. There's the paddle steaming, hot air balloons, I could go on. The best thing about the One Night Stand is that we get to see some of the most interesting and beautiful parts of Australia, the places that our listeners call us from and tell us about their lives.
