Illness Forces Jon Cleary Guitarist Big D Off Australian Tour

The upcoming tour from Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen will not feature guitarist Big D, with the musician rushed to hospital this past weekend in Florida.

While the guitarist is said to be recovering, he will not be well enough to make the trip down under this week as he is still in hospital under observation. Cleary and the other band members will still perform at each of their scheduled dates including WOMADelaide this weekend.

The main man of the band, Cleary has assured fans the party will go on when they hit the country this week:

“The gents will be bringing the monster funk next week and invite everyone to come and join the party as we bring Mardi Gras to a town near you!”
