Former Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has announced an additional Soundwave sideshow, with all profits from the extra Melbourne show going to charity.

With star Aussie guitarist Orianthi as his guest Sambora will take to the intimate confines of The Espy Thursday 27 February (this Thursday). All the proceeds will go towards The Starlight Foundation, a charity in aid of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families.

Tickets are on sale now.

Sambora has played his Brisbane sideshow, with his Sydney one coming up tomorrow.

He recently opened up to theMusic.com.au on life beyond Bon Jovi and gushed about Orianthi.

“I gotta tell you something,” he said. “I don't know a better guitar player – and that includes me! She's got everything, man, and she's such a sweet person, but fierce. There was some kind of chemistry there that was natural and unsaid in a way.”
