Hip hop artist won't come to Australia

American hip hop artist 2 Chainz has withdrawn from the line-up of the Future Music Festival after the two parties could not overcome visa issues preventing the artist from entering Australia

2 Chainz – real name Tauheed Epps – pulled out of the Movement festival last year due to a “pending court case” and those visa issues have reared their head again for Future, it appears. Today Future said “after long discussions and a lot of work on both sides on visa requirements, we've been regrettably advised that 2 Chainz is unable to travel to Australia at this time.”

They added, “Both parties are disappointed - FMF HQ loves 2 Chainz, and can't wait to get him down to Australia as soon as we.”

There are still 47 international acts on the bill and the festival has confirmed 100 Australian artists across the five shows, which start in Brisbane this weekend.
