MD announces teams

Returning Australian music executive Mark Poston has unveiled his new team for Parlophone and Warner Bros. Records a month after his appointment at Warner was confirmed.

The Managing Director for the two entities in Australia has appointed festival sponsorships guru Simon Cahill (starting March 24) as Head Of Marketing & Brand Development for Parlophone and Warner Bros. as he looks to build both brands in Australia under the Warner Group banner.

In an email to theMusic.com.au Poston also confirmed that Zoe Bartlett (starting March 10) returns to the group as Marketing Manager, having most recently been triple j/Alternative Music Manager at ABC Music. Laura Byrne, who has been with Warner for the past five years, also becomes Marketing Manager for the labels, as does Di Vidovic, who follows Poston to Warner from EMI.

Leah Harris has started today as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Parlophone and Warner Bros., moving over from Apple where she was assistant to the local iTunes hierarchy. Also starting today in an iTunes-switch is Linda-Jane Vanhear, who takes up the role of Marketing Coordinator.
