'90s video game meets '70s chic.

More The Preatures More The Preatures

After receiving Rolling Stone Magazine's Music Video of the Year award for Is This How You Feel, Sydney rock and rollers The Preatures have just released a psychedelic clip to accompany their new single, Better Than It Ever Could Be.

Directed by Josh League (who has worked with the likes of Empire Of The Sun, Josh Pyke, The Rubens, Birds of Tokyo and Hilltop Hoods), the video – like it's predecessor – takes the viewer through a nostalgic trip, this time with the aid of more powerful visuals that give a nod to the vibrancy of the psychedelic '70s and the geeky-cool of the '90s.

The psyched-out-arcade-game clip has been released just in time for the band's return to Europe and the UK, where they'll be heading out on a headline tour before appearing at SXSW and Coachella in the States ahead of the release of their highly-anticipated debut album.
