The much-anticipated Australian tour from rock'n'roll world-beaters Arctic Monkeys is around three months today and as the run gets closer, we now have some more details on who will be opening for the UK favourites.

Perth psych rock outfit POND will do the honours of supporting AM at their Australian and New Zealand shows this May, in a major coup for the local band who have had a massive twelve months. They released their acclaimed sixth album Hobo Rocket in 2013 and toured heavily around the country for their own headline shows.

Tickets are still available for this tour, with Adelaide the one date that has sold-out so far. Info can be found in theGuide so check out the details below. The tour is proudly presented by The Music.

For now, here's one of POND's Hobo Rocket singles, Midnight Mass (At The Market Street Payphone).
