The classic punk release gets a new life.

More Hard-Ons More Hard-Ons

One of the most important punk rock singles to ever come out of this country will be reissued for Record Store Day 2014, when Brisbane label Tym Records issues a brand new pressing of Hard-Ons' classic 1986 single Girl In The Sweater.

The Sydney punk trio cut the track with Rob Younger of Radio Birdman fame and the sub-three minute slice of heavy pop mayhem shot them into the ears and the hearts of many punk rock fans around the world. It's filled with incredible hooks but played at breakneck speed

The Tym Records reissue will feature full colour cover art, as designed by the band's Ray Ahn, and it will be a limited edition hand numbered release on coloured vinyl. In a nod to the label's home state, the record will also come in a paper bag, as that was the only way it would be sold in Queensland upon its release due to the “obscene” nature of its cover.
