Sydney producer has just released EP

Sydney songwriter and producer Elizabeth Rose has signed an exclusive worldwide deal with Universal Music Publishing, the group announced today.

Rose is the latest in a spate of recent signings of Aussie acts, including Gang Of Youths, M-Phazes and Horrorshow, and the deal comes after she recently released her self-titled EP. The release was the culmination of a big 12 months for the artist, which also included industry showcases, Qantas' Spirit Of Youth music award and a recent SMAC Award.

“I have a lot of big goals for my career as a writer and producer and I'm thrilled at the prospect of reaching them quicker with the Universal team representing me now,” Rose said.

Universal Music Publishing Australia's Director of A&R Heath Johns added, “It takes one listen to the Elizabeth Rose EP to instantly recognise the extent of Elizabeth's songwriting ability – her songs are memorable, inventive and honest. We are very much looking forward to opening up our global network of creative staff, collaborators and opportunities to Elizabeth.”
