More Lorde More Lorde

New Zealand's Lorde has won the 2014 Grammy Song Of The Year award. Royals beat out competition from Pink's Just Give Me A Reason, Bruno Mars' Locked Out Of Heaven, Katy Perry's Roar and Same Love by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Lorde also took out the Best Pop Solo Performance category - her hit song Royals again trumping Mars and Perry as well as Justin Timberlake and Sara Bareilles.

Lorde lost out in the Best Pop Vocal Album category where Pure Heroine was beaten by Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox. Lorde also missed out on the Record Of The Year category where she lost out to Daft Punk's Get Lucky.

Australian artists have fared less well with Tame Impala, Keith Urban and Hiatus Kaiyote all missing out in their nominated categories.
