Another new festival for March 2014.

More Ball Park Music More Ball Park Music

Another boutique festival has been announced this afternoon, with the New South Wales Central Coast the home of the Mountain Sounds Festival on Saturday 15 March.

Mount Penang Parklands in Kariong between Sydney and Newcastle is the location for the brand new event, and they have gone pretty hard in securing a solid line up of Australian talent to ensure the first event is a successful one.

Heading up the diverse bill are two of Brisbane's most well-loved young acts Ball Park Music and Emma Louise, while Melburnian youngsters Snakadaktal will also be in attendance. Sydney's The Holidays and Sticky Fingers add a little bit of (almost) local flavour to the line up, while Jinja Safari's very danceable African inspired folk-pop will excite quite a few.

If you're more interested in the electronic side of things then don't worry, that side of the line up kicks arse as well, with Beni, Wordlife (live), Yacht Club DJs, Canyons (DJ Set), Midnight Juggernauts (DJ Set), Yolanda Be Cool, Cosmo's Midnight and L D R U all locked in.
