Punk Rock Legends Poison Idea Announce First Australian Tour

It has taken 34 years but they're finally coming.

More Poison Idea More Poison Idea

One of the progenitors of hardcore punk rock, Poison Idea, will make their first trip to Australia in 2014, some 34 years after first forming.

The band, who hail from Portland, Oregon, released a stack of incredible recordings through the 1980s and early 1990s – perhaps most notably the 1990 classic Feel The Darkness – before eventually dissolving back in 1993.

They started playing shows intermittently about half a decade later and have continued to do so, before releasing another LP Latest Will And Testament in 2006 – recorded just before and released just after the death of the great Pig Champion, the band's guitarist.
