Public Enemy Pull Out of Newcastle Date

There has been a scheduling conflict, apparently.

Hip hop legends Public Enemy have bowed out of the Newcastle date they were set to play while in the country this March, citing a scheduling conflict as the reason they have had to pull the pin on the show.

Set to take place at the Newcastle Panthers club on Thursday 6 March, the group will now just play the one New South Wales date, hitting Sydney's Metro Theatre on Wednesday 5 March. The band are in the country as one of the headline acts for this year's Golden Plains festival in Meredith, outside of Melbourne.

Those who had purchased tickets to the Newcastle date can get a refund from the point of purchase. The rest of the Public Enemy dates for their 2014 visit are below.
