Sydney and Newcastle dates confirmed

More ICEHOUSE More ICEHOUSE

Following on from their DubHOUSE experiment, iconic '80s rock outfit Icehouse have announce two club shows in New South Wales for next March.

Taking place at Newcastle's Belmont 16s Sailing Club and western Sydney's Rooty Hill RSL, Icehouse's Iva Davies said, “It was only a couple of years ago now that we started touring again. One of the first shows we played was at Belmont Sailing Club and I have to admit it was a bit daunting on the night. However, my fears were completely unfounded – the show sold out, the audience were fantastic and we had a ball.

“Then a few weeks later we were at Rooty Hill – the same thing happened with a wonderful enthusiastic crowd. So when I was asked which two clubs we'd like to play in preparation for a big outdoor show were playing on [Western Australia's] Rottnest Island, the choice was easy.”

He added, “We have such a lot of songs to choose from that we can move them around so that each show can be different. Our crew are preparing new visuals and we've got a few musical surprises to throw in to celebrate the coming of autumn. It will be a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”
