Submissions Now Open For 2014 Sydney Film Festival

Sydney Film Festival are now accepting submissions for next year's event, which will mark their 61st anniversary.

Willing entrants can submit their films from now until Thursday 27 February, with the actual festival set to run from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 15 June.

The internationally acclaimed event will also celebrate its 44th year of presenting its short film competition, which will in fact make it the oldest short feature competition in the country.

Films will battle it out for the Sydney Film Prize, which was won this year by the Ryan Gosling-led Only God Forgives.
