Plenty of awesome acts have confirmed they'll appear at the festival.

Mid-March is a busy time for music fans all over the country and now the Blue Mountains Music Festival have ensured that the picking and choosing of events to see doesn't get any easier by unleashing the first three names who will be joining them in 2014.

Three of Australia's most renowned modern singer-songwriters, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald and Lior, are the first three big names who have been announced, but there are plenty of other brilliant artists who have also put their hand up for the 2014 event, many of them coming from overseas for the event.

Ireland's Rory McLeod, American bluegrass master Peter Rowan, Aussie guitar maestro Jeff Lang, Chinese ground breakers Hanggai and kiwi blues exponents Swamp Thing are among the names on the first announcement and it already looks like it will be a weekend packed full of nourishing musical experiences.
