Fuzz-rockers The Upskirts will perform a few shows this month and next to promote their latest single, We Could Be A Team, which features drummer Tom Kell on vocals in a first for the band. More.

EYE ON THE CHARTS

Australia's Got Talent winners Uncle Jed have held onto the top two spots again this week in the singles/EP independent labels through independent distribution chart. Give Me Love and Brother (Independent/Vitamin) came in at first and second respectively.

Sydney's Panama had a massive week, with three of their tracks off their Always EP debuting in the singles chart. The title track, How We Feel and Destroyer scored third, ninth and 12th (Future Classic/Independent) respectively.

Rapper Kerser has maintained his reign at number one in the top 20 albums released on independent labels through independent distribution chart this week, with his latest record S.C.O.T (Kerser N Nebs Records/Obese Records).

One-time Australian Idol star Damien Leith's new venture as an independent artist has worked a treat so far, with his new album Chapter Seven (Social Family Records/Independent) debuting at two this week. And Powderfinger alum Darren Middleton had an impressive start to his solo career. His LP Translations (Independent/MGM) has entered in at five.

Electro experimental outfit perth will officially release their second LP What's Your Utopia tomorrow. The group only just unveiled one of its singles, Greasy Moon, which you can listen to here.
