A huge line up for the Queensland capital.

More Hoodoo Gurus More Hoodoo Gurus

Brisbane audiences are in for a treat this Australia Day as the team at the Eatons Hill Hotel have put together a monstrous line up of Australian talent for a huge celebration of some of the best music to have come from this country over the past few decades.

Heading up the mammoth bill is the mighty Hoodoo Gurus, who continue to prove themselves as one of the most incredible live bands in the country, even over 30 years since they formed. Their energy and vitality on stage is inspiring and those songs still sound pretty damn great.

Equally awesome on the live stage and on record are the incomparable You Am I. They spent much of this year running through their two mammoth records Hourly, Daily and Hi Fi Way in very special performances around the country and we have no doubt that, no matter which records they pull their setlist from, they will be absolutely incredible on a warm Brisbane summer's day.

Fellow '90s alternative rock mainstays Jebediah also feature on the bill, the Perth band returning to somewhat more active duty after a little bit of downtime following some hectic touring in support of their 2011 record Kosciuszko. Whether it's that record, their brilliant debut Slightly Oddway or anything in between that you love, this is a band who have appealed to so many Australians over the years.

Rockhampton-bred roots pop duo Busby Marou are also on board to provide their energetic brand of modern rock to proceedings, the band are fresh from the release of their latest LP Farewell Fitzroy and are in fine form at the moment; they'll be a popular drawcard.

Local acts Good Oak and Nat Dunn round out the bill.

The show takes place at the Eatons Hill Hotel on Sunday 26 January and tickets are available now for $50 + bf.
