First Look: WAM Festival Names Full Line-Up, Program

One-on-one sessions now available

The full line up for next week's WAM Festival has been revealed this afternoon with the inclusion of the WA Export, metal and Singapore showcases as well as the one-on-one sessions.

The first look at the full program is now available here, with the following events the most recent additions.

WA Export showcase – Thursday 7 November
Warning Birds, Tracksuit and Mathas have been added to the bill of emerging and established WA artists, which also includes Kučka, Rainy Day Women, Simone & Girlfunkle and Stillwater Giants.
The Bakery, 8pm-12am

WAM Black Metal Showcase – Thursday 7 November
Malignant Monster, Advent Sorrow, Psychonaut, Mhorgl and Nails Of Imposition, with help from DJ Cain, showcase the state's metal scene.

The full program also features the Singapore WAM Music Exchange program, which will be launched Thursday 7 November at PICA Bar from 5pm-7pm with Charlie Lim, Sezairi and The Sam Willows. All three will perform again on Saturday 9 November at the Saturday Spectacular in Northbridge while the Gateway To Asia panel, featuring, Danny Loong (Timbre Group) and Sammy Shira-Moore (Music Matters/Branded).

On the WAM Music Conference front a number of one-on-one sessions are happening at the WAM Hub at the State Theatre Centre of WA Gallery. Across Thursday, Friday and Saturday AIR's Nick O'Byrne, Alberts' Michael Szumowski, Spotify's Rene Chambers, Spinning Top/Tame Impala's Jodie Regan, Lunatic/Gotye's Danny Rogers and The Music's Leigh Treweek are amongst those available for the sessions. Up to three 20 minute sessions are available to be booked by each delegate on a first-in-first-served basis.

MGM's Sebastian Chase and Sounds Australia's Millie Millgate are available for four 45-minute sessions.
