Belew, Levin and Mastelotto will all be a part of the King Crimson celebration.

Just a couple of months after news of the reformation of prog legends King Crimson was announced, an Australian visit a few of the finest musicians ever performed in that band as part of The Crimson ProjeKCt has been announced.

It goes down like this; opening things up will be Stick Men, featuring current King Crimson bassist Tony Levin, drummer Pat Mastelotto and touch guitarist Markus Reuter who will play a set of their songs and a couple of King Crimson numbers.

They will be followed by a performance from the Adrian Belew Power Trio, featuring Belew (of course) alongside bassist Julie Slick and drummer Tobias Ralph, who will play predominantly their own songs with a Crimson tune thrown in.

Then Belew, Levin and Mastelotto all get together to play a Crimson song as a trio, before the rest of the musicians join them onstage to form a special double-trio! It's three hours of prog mayhem from some of the most renowned musicians around and it's not to be missed by fans of the legendary group.
