Falls Festivals Add Artists & Comedy

Clairy Browne, The Smith Street Band, Born Ruffians, Dave Callan join the party

The upcoming Falls Festivals have added their comedy line-up and a number or artists across its dates today, with Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes brought in to replace a band and Born Ruffians added to the Lorne and Byron dates.

Dave Callan leads the comedy line-up, which will visit Tasmania's Marion Bay, Victoria's Lorne and new destination New South Wales' Byron Bay. Lorne and Byron Bay are both sold out.

The Lorne event is the biggest of the three festivals and with an extra day to its bow has added a number of artists, including Born Ruffians, Owl Eyes, Citizen Jay, Dappled Cities, The Delta Riggs, The Smith Street Band and Wolf & Cub.

The Byron Bay date is adding Cub Sport a Questlove DJ set, Wave Racer, Anna Lunoe and Born Ruffians, amongst others.

Boogie Nights headliners the Hot 8 Brass Band have pulled out of the line-up with illness rendering members of the band unable to travel. They'll be replaced by Clairy Browne and friends for the three events.

BYRON BAY ADDITIONS

Anna Lunoe, Born Ruffians, Cub Sport, Lunatics On Pogosticks, Potato Potato, Questlove DJ set, Touch Sensitive, Tyler Touche and Wave Racer.

The previously announced line-up includes The Roots, Solange, Hermitude, Horrorshow, Johnny Marr, The Paper Kites, The Wombats and Vampire Weekend.
