Fronted by singer-songwriter Bethany Cosentino – who starting to realise she's a good role-model – California's Best Coast are releasing their mini-album Fade Away, in what is described as a surf-pop sound that is very much them amidst experimentation.

Alex Lloyd – Urban Wilderness (Table Music/MGM)
He's back! After spending some time abroad, Lloyd is releasing his new LP tomorrow and touring the country in the next few months, his first time touring back home since 2008. Urban Wilderness brags some key collaborations with Shane Nicholson and Midnight Oil's Jim Moginie, The Music's Lukas Murphy believing his strength lie in the softer offerings.
