They're ending a busy 2013 in style

To cap of a massive 2013 for Sydney's The Mountains (not to be confused with any other bands of the same name), the indie band have unveiled their final show of the year, coming in correlation with the announcement of a new EP and single.

The four-piece truly have had a huge 12 months, playing almost 100 live shows, including support slots with The Delta Riggs, The Starry Field and Wagons, and releasing their debut EP Country Doors.

The boys haven't wasted any time getting back into the studio, flying to Cairns last month to record a new EP with Mark Myers, who has worked with The Middle East, Emma Louise and Tim Hart, set for release early next year.

To end the year, The Mountains plan to release their new single Amends and will fit in one more live show at Darlinghurst's Brighten Up Bar on Thursday 14 November.
