Illinois rockers Fall Out Boy have announced the release of a sweet new '80s-punk inspired EP that will come hand-in-hand with the limited edition re-issue of their chart-storming 2013 LP Save Rock And Roll later this month.

The EP, titled PAX•AM Days, was produced by Ryan Adams in his PAX AM Studios in Hollywood, with the first taste of the short-play – called Love Sex Death­ – available for listen below.

The band's Save Rock And Roll record was released in April of this year, their fifth full-length debuting at number one on the Billboard charts, number two on the ARIA Album charts and reaching number one in 27 countries worldwide.

The record's popular tune My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up) reached ARIA Platinum status, with new song Alone Together also making waves – have a listen.

The four-piece will soon embark on an Australian tour in celebration of the 2013 record, taking to stadiums with British India. See all the dates at theGuide.

PAX•AM Days will be available from Friday 18 October in two formats, as a standalone EP and as the special edition 2CD Save Rock And Roll: PAX•AM Days Edition, with the 2013 full-length – all via Universal.
