The Preatures Will Celebrate Halloween At The Newtown Hotel

One of the hottest Aussie bands on the scene at the moment, The Preatures will headline a free Halloween party with Tokyo Denmark Sweden at the Newtown Hotel on Thursday 31 October, also marking the pub's birthday.

The gospel soul rockers from Sydney have been on a bit of a world-wind lately, with frontwoman Isabella Manfredi named the winner of the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, picking up $50,000 for penning Is This How You Feel?, the act also signing to US label Harvest Records for an American release of their 2013 EP.

Helping The Preatures rock the Newtown Hotel is Tokyo Denmark Sweden who have also been making waves with their debut single Little Quarters, gaining radio play on triple j and FBi, as well as nailing some sweet support slots with Parachute Youth, RÜFÜS and Pluto Jonze.

The venue assures that the free event will reach capacity early – especially when The Newtown Hotel, Bulmers and Cartlon Draught will be shouting drinks from 6.30pm - so get in there early!
