Lauryn Hill is a free woman, after completing three-month stint in prison for tax evasion and similarly to when she was first incarcerated, the singer has unveiled a new song upon her release.

Consumerism is another rapid-fire anthem with Hill having a whole lot to say on sociey, race, gender and plenty more. It's what we've come to expect from the outspoken artist and as usual, it provokes thought, which is what Hill does best. According to the LA Times, Hill was released on Friday 4 October, nearly three months to the day that she reported to prison. The former Fugees member was convicted of failing to pay more than $2 million in taxes 2005 to 2009.
