Management take responsibility for confusion

More Iggy Azalea More Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea has cancelled her east coast sideshows this morning after they were announced just two days ago.

The Australian-born rapper is supporting Beyonce on her upcoming tour and took to Twitter to deny her own headline shows were happening after they were officially announced. Despite assurances from the promoter IEG yesterday that they were in the right to announce the shows, they have this morning confirmed that the shows will not be happening, with the artist's management taking the blame.

“Iggy's management apologise for confusion caused relating to the Australian side shows and take full responsibility for the mis-communications,” said Turn First Artist.

John Denison's IEG statement said they were, “disappointed to announce that Iggy Azalea will not be doing her scheduled sideshows while she is in Australia. While all appropriate care and measures were taken when organising these shows including confirmation with management and her agent, unfortunately the shows have been cancelled and tickets will not be going on sale on Tuesday 8 October.”
