In between their massive support slot for rock powerhouse band Muse later this year, Birds Of Tokyo will also perform a few of their own headlining shows.

The alternative quintet will play in Fremantle, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong this November and December in amongst their already confirmed dates with the British trio. Tickets to these just announced gigs go on sale Friday 27 September. Check out theGuide below for the details.

It has been a stellar year for the Perth band on the back of their hugely successful album March Fires, which debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums chart when it was released in early 2013. The record is also slated for a North American release sometime next year.

The band only recently completed their March Fires album tour and along with their November/December dates, will also headline the revamped Homebake Festival at the end of the year. You can also watch the guys perform at this weekend's AFL Grand Final.
