Paper Kites, Violent Soho, Horrorshow, Thundamentals also added

With tickets going on sale tomorrow, the Falls Festival has bolstered its line-up this morning with a quality announcement of eight local and two international acts.

The festival, which this year adds a Byron Bay date to the existing Tasmanian and Victorian legs, has added The Smiths co-songwriter and guitarist Johnny Marr and Philadelphia's The War On Drugs, while Sydney indie-rock (sometimes stadium-indie-rock) outfit The Rubens, Sydney hip hop duo Horrorshow and intoxicating Brisbane singer Emma Lousie lead the local additions.

Also from Brisbane are new-album-ready Violent Soho, indie melting pot Hungry Kids Of Hungry, while Sydney's ever-bounding Thundamentals, the gorgeous-folk tinged sounds of Melbourne's The Paper Kites and Sydney wunderkind Oliver Tank will also make the trek across the east coast.

They join the previously announced The Roots, Vampire Weekend, White Denim, Solange, London Grammar, Neil Finn and others. The full line-up, in alphabetical order, is below:
