Brunswick Music Festival Changes Management After 22 Years

Strut & Fret take over from the long-standing John McAuslan.

After 22 years at the helm, festival manager John McAuslan has retired from his position at the helm of the iconic Brunswick Music Festival and will be replaced, effective immediately, by the Strut & Fret Production House.

McAuslan was key in the development of the event as a platform for both musicians local to the Brunswick area as well as artists from across the country and all over the world. It has become one of the key events in the now very much thriving area as well as a key event in the world of folk, acoustic and roots music scenes.

Strut & Fret add the Brunswick Music Festival to their already significant list of events that they look after and will be looking to put “their own creative edge” to the well-established festival as they control both the management and artistic direction of the event.

Applications for performers, community groups, local businesses, stall-holders and food vendors are open now and will be open until Tuesday 15 October. Get involved here.
