Exciting times for punters and bands alike.

More The Cult More The Cult

There's a lot of excitement about The Cult's return to Australian shores, particularly given they are here to play their classic 1987 LP Electric in full.  Well, things just became a wee bit more exciting with news of the tour supports being locked down this afternoon.

Redcoats have been a big part of the Australian rock scene for a number of years now and have shared the stage with everyone from Grinspoon to Stone Temple Pilots. This will be one of the most exciting tours of the band's career thus far though as they go out in support of these genuine legends of goth rock at four shows around the nation.

Punters in Sydney and Melbourne are particularly lucky, however, as one of Melbourne's most revered psych rock bands of the moment – Beaches – will be hitting the big stages of Festival Hall and the Hordern Pavilion to open these shows. Their recent She Beats LP is brilliant and you'd be crazy to miss these ladies smashing it up this October.

Tickets are still available for all shows, check out the dates below.
