Midweek figures too close to call

An Aussie trio of Dead Letter Circus, Cloud Control and RüFüS are set to give the ARIA Albums Chart top ten a shake-up this week, according to midweek chart figures.

Dead Letter Circus' The Catalyst Fire, Cloud Control's Dream Cave and RüFüS' Atlas have all enjoyed strong sales since their release last week and it appears too early to pick the highest debut – and exactly where that debut will be – for this week. Pink's arguably still favourite to hold the top spot though, unless one of the three debuts receives an extra push, given current number one The Truth About Love has tracked strongly throughout her record-breaking tour.

Deeper into the charts Asking Alexandria's From Death To Destiny, Diesel's Let It Fly and Charlie Pride's 40 Years Of Pride are looking strong for top 50 debuts.

Last week Backstreet Boys' In A World Like This debuted at the lowly 73, but the boyband's comeback will likely creep into the top 50 this week, while Bastille's Bad Blood will push up from its tp spot of 41 last week thanks to their tour. The record's spend 17 weeks in the top 100 so far.

The two-way battle at the top of the singles chart continues between Avicii's Wake Me Up and Lorde's The Love Club EP, although Jason DeRulo featuring 2 Chainz's Dirty Talk is tracking extremely well in the midweek numbers.

Lana Del Rey's Summertime Sadness will be a strong debut, as will Bastille's tour EP Laura Palmer. Both will crack the top 50.

Existing releases that are making waves include Flo Rida featuring Pitbull's Can't Believe It, Imagine Dragons' On Top Of The World, Rihanna's What Now and Emeli Sande's Next To Me.
