On the back of his incredibly popular appearance at Byron Bay's Splendour In The Grass, Matt Corby has unveiled a run of shows in celebration for his skyrocketing single and EP, Resolution.

Announcing nine massive shows across Australia, including his biggest shows ever at Sydney's Hordern Pavillion and Melbourne's Festival Hall, the Oyster Bay-born singer-songwriter and former Australian Idol contestant will tour in the name of the Resolution single which has achieved platinum status with over 100,000 sales and loads of airplay nation-wide.

Corby is no stranger to success, taking Australia by storm with his breakout single, Brother, which picked him up the ARIA for Song of the Year, spending much of the time since then working on new material in a variety of apartments and studios in Los Angeles.

Released in earlier this month and recorded with Alt-J producer Charlie Andrew and Feist/Peaches producer Mocky, the Resolution EP raked in top ten iTunes chart rankings in the UK, Sweden and New Zealand, as well as number two on the list Down Under.

Returning from massive sets at Glastonbury, Blissfields and Splendour, to name a few, Corby will now take the streets in his own headline shows, joined by London alt-country and folk trio Bear's Den who finished up 2012 by supporting Mumford & Songs at London's O2 Arena.

Fans can expect a Matt Corby debut record in the near future, with the musician going back into the studio before his tour kicks off in October.
