Grammy-nominated rapper Game has announced a run of shows across the country for this August and September.

The Los Angeles-born MC will perform 11 shows throughout the east coast, kicking off in Melbourne at The Espy on Thursday 22 August. Tickets are available now.

Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, came to prominence as a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew and a Dr. Dre protégé in the early 2000s. His on-point flow and lyrics have seen him deliver five studio albums since 2005's The Documentary, along with several mixtapes, making him one of the biggest West Coast rappers of the noughties.

Game's most recent record Jesus Piece dropped in late 2012 - Celebration, which featured a bunch of his urban music pals was its first single.
