English stadium rockers back down under

More Muse More Muse

British stadium rock giants Muse are returning to Australian this summer, taking Birds Of Tokyo on a run of shows which will kick off late November and continue through to mid-December.

Renowned for their bombastic live shows, particularly their masses of lighting, the band's most recent and sixth album, The 2nd Law, saw the Englishmen venture even further into orchestral and rock opera territories, which is a long way from the Brit-prog foundations.

Perth's Birds Of Tokyo will be joining the band for the run of shows – all of which are all ages – hot on the release of their March Fires album, which solidified their standing as one of Australia's biggest rock bands at the moment.

Promoted by the Frontier Touring Company, tickets go on sale 12 noon, local time, Monday 29 July.
