American metal pioneers Lamb Of God have announced they will be visiting our shores this September for a five-date tour in what will be a triumphant return to the live scene after the Randy Blythe manslaughter controversy.

The iconic outfit, who have reigned in the heavy metal genre since 1990, will play in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. They'll be joined by Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah, who formed twenty-five years ago and have a massive following themselves.

It will be an emotional return for Lamb Of God after what has been a turbulent twelve months since Blythe was arrested in Prague on manslaughter charges. He was accused of pushing 19-year-old Daniel Nosek off the stage at a Prague club in May of 2010. He spent over a month in a Czech prison before he was released and allowed to return home to his family in the United States. He was then indicted in December of last year and eventually ordered to face court back in the Czech Republic. Finally in March, the lead singer was cleared of all charges, leaving him free to rejoin his bandmates for what is one very anticipated tour.

Tickets go on sale Friday 14 June at 9am. You'll want to snap these up quicksmart for sure though!
