New Boards Of Canada, Jagwar Ma and The Red Paintings

Jagwar Ma - Howlin (Future Classic)

The much-hyped Sydney pairing that is Jagwar Ma have finally dropped their debut LP Howlin. The ten track album is full of diversity, avoiding the sometimes 'recycled beats' syndrome that can plague electro music. Lose yourself in a wave of psychedelic dream-pop with this one.

Boards Of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest (Warp/Inertia)

Emika - Dva (Ninja Tune/Inertia)

If you like your pop music with a dash of European sensibility and plenty of emotion and sexuality, Emika's Dva is for you. The record is dark, but less abrasive than her previous effort Emika. It'll be hard not to fall in love with this heart-achingly beautiful artist after listening to this album.

Frankie & The Heartstrings - The Days Run Away (Warner)

Britain's sharp sounding band Frankie & The Heartstrings are back with their sophomore effort The Days Run Away. It's nice to have the guys back on the scene and with a new groove by the sounds of things. They enlisted Suede's Bernard Butler to produce the record. If you can't wait till it drops tomorrow, we've been streaming this baby on theMusic all week!

The Red Paintings - The Revolution Is Never Coming (Bird's Robe/MGM)

A lot has been said about orchestral art-rock outfit The Red Paintings for their theatrical and bold approach to music. Their debut The Revolution Is Never Coming took five years to create, and while it may appear a tad too ambitious to some, you can't deny that it is one epic release. Fans will be glad to wait is over.

Jimmy Eat World - Damage (Sony)

American rockers Jimmy Eat World dish out little in the surprise packet with Damage, but that's what fans love about them. You know what you're going to get from JEW - honest lyrics and building guitar riffs that pull you in and never let go. Seven albums in, these guys still know how to please the masses.

Miles Kane - Don't Forget Who You Are (Sony)

The mod-son returns with an album that is bigger and louder than his debut.

Andrew Stockdale - Keep Moving (Universal)

The former leader of Wolfmother goes it alone and delivers a very long, 17-track solo debut.

The Love Junkies - Maybelene (MGM)

The Perth trio kick out the jams with a set of high octane power chords and punchy vibes.
