Sydney Film Festival Competition Jury Announced

The Sydney Film Festival has announced the remaining panel of judges who will determine the winner of the Sydney Film Prize.

We already knew that acclaimed Aussie actor Hugo Weaving will be the Jury President, so who will be joining him on the panel? There will be several global eyes cast upon the films in the running, with some international directors and critics on the panel.

Indian filmmaker Anand Ghandi, along with Italian film critic and Venice Film Festival selection committee member Paolo Bertolin and South African and Swedish director Pia Marais will be judges. Both Ghandi and Marais have features screening at this year's SFF. Rounding out the panel will be local producer Kath Shelper was behind 2009's award-wining film Samson And Delilah.
