The album cover

“The cover shows a man and a woman kneeling and levitating the 'discoveries cube' from our first album [Discoveries],” he said. “Pretty much we wanted to depict a scene where opposite sides merge to form a singularity. The album is titled Singularity and traditionally the word attempts to describe a future peak in human evolution that is beyond our understanding or comprehension. Naturally we thought the idea would be a great metaphor to adopt for our future album.

On the decision to work with Fox – of Apollo Collective – he said, “We had a few artists in mind, luckily we were able to work with an Aussie… We gave him a detailed idea of what we wanted, so he had the guidance from us and was able to depict the vision we all shared.”

“The cube is a shape that is birthed from the mathematical patterns found inherently within nature, specifically from the flower of life, which is a very ancient and sacred geometrical pattern,” Fitapaldes continued. “Part of the reason the members of Northlane are brothers is because we all share a deep reverence and awe of nature and the cosmos, so we incorporate geometry and galactic themes into our art and music to express our shared experience of the wonderful universe we all live in.”
