More King Tuff More King Tuff

One of the many new garage rock acts that have sprung up in recent years, King Tuff, is hitting Australia for the very first time this April to prove to us that the music we've loved on his two LPs and handful of singles is just as good on the live stage.

King Tuff is the brainchild of Kyle Thomas, who has also made music as a member of psych-folk group Feathers and has been a part of J Mascis and Dave Sweetapple's awesome doom band Witch. This project has Thomas embracing his love of power pop and garage rock, though, and has resulted in some killer tunes.

His second record, simply called King Tuff, was released through Sub Pop last year and was a favourite of many a critic and scene kid around the world. His little gems of catchy, classic sounding rock and popare quite brilliant and we can't wait to jump around like crazy people when he plays them live.
